BSA is proud to announce our participation in the 2025 Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo, taking place in San Diego, September 24–26. This is the go-to event for healthcare environment professionals, offering networking, innovation showcases, and insights into design, construction and management.

ACHA Prep Course

Wednesday, September 24, 3:00–4:00 PM
BSA will host an ACHA Prep Course, designed for professionals pursuing the American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA) specialty certification—the only healthcare architecture credential recognized by the American Institute of Architects (AIA). This workshop will guide attendees through the certification process, covering application requirements, exam structure, sample questions, and scoring criteria. Whether preparing for submission or the exam itself, participants will gain valuable insights into advancing their careers in healthcare design.

NexusPark Post-Occupancy Evaluation

Friday, September 26, 8:30–9:30 AM
BSA will also present findings from the Columbus Regional Health NexusPark Post-Occupancy Evaluation. This study assessed how well the design of a multi-department healthcare clinic supports daily operations. Through staff surveys and on-site assessments, researchers confirmed predictions from earlier design simulations, demonstrating that data-driven design approaches improve both patient care efficiency and staff satisfaction. The results underscore the importance of evidence-based spatial planning in creating healthcare environments that meet today’s needs while adapting to the future.
