BSA has been ranked #35 among the Top 90 Architecture/Engineering Firms in the United States in Building Design+Construction’s 2026 Giants 400 Report.
The recognition places BSA among an elite group of the country’s largest architecture and engineering firms and reflects the continued growth of a 100% employee-owned firm across its national practice.
A National Ranking in a Large and Competitive Industry
The U.S. architecture and engineering industry includes tens of thousands of firms, ranging from small local practices to large multidisciplinary organizations serving clients across the country.
Within that expansive marketplace, BD+C’s Giants 400 rankings identify and compare some of the largest firms in the industry. BSA’s #35 national ranking puts the firm among the country’s leading A/E practices by revenue.
More Than a Number
BSA focuses exclusively on healthcare, higher education, and research, bringing specialized expertise across architecture, engineering, interior design, and planning. This integrated approach allows project teams to address complex challenges collaboratively, from the earliest stages of planning through design and delivery.
That expertise is supported by a growing national presence. BSA operates eight studios across the United States, supporting clients and project teams in communities nationwide. Together, these studios give BSA the resources and reach of a larger firm while maintaining the specialized knowledge and close collaboration that define its work.
That combination is increasingly important as healthcare systems, universities, and research institutions navigate rapid changes in technology, demographics, care delivery, learning models, and research. These environments are not evolving independently. They are interconnected, and addressing their challenges requires teams with the expertise and integration to understand the entire picture as one connected ecosystem.
Research fuels discovery. Discovery improves care. Learning prepares the next generation. Healthcare systems become learning environments, while universities become research engines. Academic medical centers bring all three together.
Understanding these connections allows BSA to look beyond individual buildings and disciplines to consider how the environments we create influence one another and the people they serve. It is this integrated perspective that continues to shape BSA’s work and growth as OneBSA.
After more than 50 years of practice, BSA continues to grow as a national, integrated firm united by a shared commitment to creating inspired solutions that improve lives.
