This facility represents the future of digitally advanced medical facilities. Additionally, it prioritizes enhanced communication between physicians, staff, patients, and their loved ones.

The Houston Methodist Cinco Ranch Comprehensive Care Center is designed with adaptability at its core. Robust infrastructure supports both present-day and future-evolving digital health technologies.

Houston Methodist’s Center for Innovation Informs BSA Design

Houston Methodist founded its Center for Innovation (CFI) in 2018, dedicated to exploring technological advancements. Following the establishment of the CFI,  this effort became the foundation for Houston Methodist’s launch of the Technology Hub (Tech Hub). The Tech Hub is a controlled clinical environment simulation setting dedicated to examining and proving meaningful use cases for new digital innovations. The CFI drives new digital innovation solution considerations, further supporting Houston Methodist’s vision for leading medicine. In addition, the CFI Tech Hub will evaluate how new technologies can revolutionize development projects.

Once digital solution considerations are made, a Design Basis will review and index these technologies for even further assessment. Additionally, this process will integrate BSA’s principles and expertise in interior architecture and healthcare interior design. Our team focuses on functional flow, standardization, and resource efficiency, creating welcoming spaces that evolve with emerging clinical technologies These principles guide the evaluation of proposed technologies and their impact on the healthcare infrastructure.

All in all, research from the Tech Hub focuses on improving the entire patient care continuum from pre-visit to post-discharge. In partnership, as a top-rated architecture firm, BSA ensures that interior architects and best design architects collaborate to enhance patient experience and optimize healthcare infrastructure.
